6.1 Information Collection and Classification
During browsing the site or using services, information is collected, divided into two main types:
- Non-personally identifiable information (NPII) / Statistical data: Information collected for statistical, operational and managerial purposes – such as your IP address, pages visited, browser type, etc.
- Personally identifiable information (PII) / Personal details: Information that identifies you personally, such as payment details or details you provided knowingly for purchasing services. This information will be used only for this purpose, unless explicit consent is given otherwise.
6.2 Data Sharing and Personal Information Protection
- Security and protection of PII: The personally identifiable information held in the company's systems is secured in accordance with Privacy Protection Law, 1981, and in accordance with the Privacy Protection Authority's guidelines. Any use of the information will be subject to legitimate purposes, including service improvement and providing personalized services.
- Sharing statistical data: The company may collaborate with companies such as Google and Facebook (Meta). Some non-personally identifiable statistical information will be disclosed to these companies within their privacy policies, for campaign management and site ranking improvement.
- Transfer of personal information conditional on consent: The company may share personally identifying data with third parties only for providing the required services, and subject to your explicit consent. The information may also be provided in legal proceedings or business mergers, as long as the receiving entity commits to respecting the privacy policy terms.
- Exceptions to consent: The company reserves the right to share any type of information only in cases where it is required by law or judicial order, or when necessary to protect its rights.
- Use of cookies: The site uses technologies such as cookies for site operation, user experience improvement and content and ads personalization. Cookies can be blocked via browser settings, but this may affect site functionality.
6.3 Information Security and Liability Limitation Against Breaches
- Security measures and liability limitation: All Gold Link information is stored in encrypted cloud and server farms in the State of Israel and backed up in additional continents whose locations are confidential. The company implements up-to-date systems and procedures for information security in its sites. While these systems and procedures reduce risks of unauthorized penetration, they do not provide absolute security.
- Waiver of claims following a breach: The company commits that at all times it will have a valid certified security certificate and security protocol updates will be taken, but the company does not commit that its services will be absolutely immune (sterile) from unauthorized access to the stored information. The surfer waives in advance any claim that may arise following a criminal breach into Gold Link's information systems.
- Activity monitoring: The company reserves the right to monitor user activity in its systems if suspicion arises of hostile or harmful activity.
6.4 Surfer and Customer Rights
- Right to review and correction: According to Privacy Protection Law, 1981, every person is entitled to review the information about them held in a database. A person who finds that the information is not correct, complete, clear or updated, may request to correct the information or request its deletion.
- Deletion request: If the information in the company's databases is used for personal contact with you, you are entitled according to Privacy Protection Law, 1981 to demand in writing that the information referring to you be deleted from the database.
- Changes in policy: In any case where material changes are made to this policy regarding the use of personal information you provided, a notice will be published on the site's home page.
